I have a 105 pound adopted lab/bulldog mix that got kicked out of doggy daycare for his terrible manners and I drive him 30 minutes to Fleetwood to D&D because for some reason they love him almost as much as I do. He is unpredictable and moody, and can't even get along with half of my family/friends, but every time I come to pick him up I am told how much the staff love them and how much they hate to see him leave. Thanks to D&D I can actually take vacation and feel confident that my baby is in good hands and will be happy and healthy when I come home!

I can not express how thankful and appreciative I am of D and D Kennel! My dog had the best 3 days and they were transparent, honest, and forthcoming with all information! I am a helicopter dog mom and they exceeded my expectations! Will be using their services and be highly recommending them!!

I have tried 3 other kennels over the years and my small dogs were in shock for 2 days after bringing them home. I felt awful. Picked my Lhasa Apso up this morning and he is just hanging out, like he was never away. They go out of their way to figure out what your dog likes, bathroom habits, eating habits and my dog actually likes the folks who take care of him! I was told by other kennels that he was mean, had emotional problems, etc. At D and D they like him and he likes them. I highly recommend this kennel!!!

I recently rescued a retrivadoodle who deseperatly needed to be groomed. I called Diane and told her that he was in terrible shape and everytime I try to brush him he would try to bite me. She told me to bring him in and she would try to groom him. She gave me a reasonable estimate and told me to come back in a few hours. I was anxious to leave him as I knew he had some anxiety issues and a biter. Diane called me back after three hours and told me that Elli was ready to be picked up. I was shocked at the transformation. Elli was relaxed, clean, groomed and smelled terrific. I was very impressed with the groom and the price that I was charged. I also recommend Diane and her facility to my friends and family who have also been very satisfied with her services. It is important to note that the Kennel books by appointment only for grooming and boarding and that they have limited office hours.

This kennel far exceeds any and every expectation I had! The staff was super friendly, informative, and accomodating to our dogs needs. We chose to add grooming before pick up and we were very pleased! It was superior to any grooming we have had before for our Poodle and Rottweiler! The kennel is clean, well-maintained, and offers a variety of services. You defintely get 5 Star Service at D and D Kennel.

My dogs love going there, wouldn't recommend/go anywhere else for boarding or grooming. Not only do they care for your animals while being bording there, they also take time to play, walk and just ineract and show them attention to make their boarding experience comfortable and fun for your pets.

D and D Kennel is the best! Tey know more about my dog then I can even remember. The last time I brought him in I told the staff that he had hurt his leg at home from fall off the couch and needed to be watched closely. I recently brought him in again to be boarded and they asked about his leg that I had completely forgotten about. It was comforting to know that they knew him so well. This place is the perfect place to bring your pet, its bright and cheery, they have central air, and even heated floors. My dog is so happy to go there and comes ome happy and clean as if he was on vacation himself.

Took my 3 German Sheperds here for an overnight stay last week. The staff and owners are extremely friendly. I will definitely be going back here again. The accommodations are very clean and well kept all of this made me feel confident about leaving my "kids" here.

Hi I left my cat there for a week two summers ago. I popped in without notice to check the place out and it was clen and the young lady was friendly. My cat wa a little home sick but was healthy and clean. I was happy with there service. If you must leave your pet it is always hard. There is no place like home

I and my dogs love this place! The owners are great and live on the premisies. The staff is caring and very knowledgeable. I love that I can ask questions and receive a genuine and realistic approach to training my dogs. They recently made a resort type addition to the facilty that is completely a five star pet resort. Its amazing
! My dogs live better here than they do at home. They have heated floors and plush dog bedding and beds. They offer a doggie spa where my dogs get a deluxe wash and pedicure and come home smelling great. I use to feel guilty about boarding my dogs when I went away and now I feel like they are on vacation too. I have been boarding my dogs here for years and feel like family when I come here with my dogs. I have even taken advantage of their doggie day care.

We found D and D Kennel because we were looking for two Persian kittens to add as pets to our family. We were so pleased with the pictures of the kittens that were available, and Diane was a huge help over the phone. When we came to get the kittens, we were immediately smitten with them. Now, after having them for over 6 months , I can attest that they still have the sweetest personalities and are completely gentle to our children. I have had some wonderful cats throughout my life, but these wo cats are the firendliest and most loving I've ever had. I would highly reccomend D and D Kennel / Purrwind Cattery. Thank you so much!

highly reccomend ! i was in a emergency situation, and couldnt have my husky in our house for a few days- they said come right away. he was very well taken care of- they let me know he was ok. this was the first time we had to leave him anywhere- she made me feel comfortable leaving him.
i will definitely be calling again now that i know he will be in good hands.

This was the best experience ever ! Diane the owner explained everything to us and you can tell she takes great care of this place and the animals . Everything was I order and the pets have a great environment and are in good hands . Our beautiful kitty was awaiting us and after going over everything in detail we were able to take him home . D & D was fantastic taking care of my small dachshund and giving her individual care. I had problems with other kennels because my dog was in with larger dogs in daycare situations. Here she worked with me specifically so my dog could have some playtime but not with large dogs. I would highly recommend this kennel. Our dog was well cared for. The owners are very careful with Covid-19 & have set up a means for contactless drop off & pick up. They are doing a great job.

My dogs love D and D Kennel in Fleetwood, PA. They are never sad when I go on vacation, because they get to go to the kennel. The kennel is always exceptionally clean. When my dogs are at the kennel they get daily playtime and walks. This is great because my dogs are full of energy and love attention. My dogs are washed and groomed before I pick them up. My dogs are extremely happy at the kennel. The staff at D and D Kennel loves my dogs. All of the staff are very friendly and have great experience with many different types of animals. My dogs are obedience trained thanks to the staff of D and D Kennel. My dogs received great training there, and always offer me training tips anytime I need help. The kennel staff is always happy to answer and questions anyone ever has. They are always very polite and accommodating. I always recommend D and D Kennel to my friends and family. I could not imagine taking my dogs to any other kennel. Thank you D and D Kennel for having a great staff and being an amazing kennel as always!

​I don’t post reviews all that much, but In this case I had to because they are just wonderful. D and d is so so caring about your dogs. I’m a dog mom. We have two large (spoiled) dogs, and one has pretty bad separation anxiety. We’ve tried different kennels before and all anyone said is our dog is a handful or they don’t say anything at all. Diane is great- she’s very knowledgeable and took the time to explain to us what our dogs were doing, how they behaved, how they worked with them to reduce the ones anxiety (especially around other dogs), and made suggestions for what we could do on our end to make them less anxious while we’re away. We use the deluxe side of the kennel and it really is nice and clean. The deluxe side doesn’t have the chain link inside and it is a lot brighter and nicer, especially for the price (which is comparable to other kennels that feel like a dog pound) They did help with med administration too. We board our two boys together (one is 150# the other is about 85#) and there are large enough accommodations for the 2 of them. It’s out in the country so it’s like home for our dogs. Like I said, we’ve tried different kennels before, and I’ve worried about my dogs while we’re gone, but I didn’t worry with d and d. I felt my dogs were in great care and wouldn’t be kenneled up all day long. We’ve found our long term boarding facility. Please give it a try, they really really work with you and your dog to make you both comfortable!
Always a good experience when I leave my doggo at D&D while out on vacation. He's always well taken care of.
